It's time for September album showdown between Fergie, Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake. Although all of them hitted or are hitting shelves at different time, the thing that they have in common is all the hype and spice of their albums since months ago. Fergie has shown us how her London Bridge will fall down whilst Justin brough the sexy back. Meantime, Janet too spawned a hit with Nelly on their collaboration, Call On Me. So, whose album are nice, and worth a listen?

Fergie's debut album is quite enjoyablle despite its mess of genre which ranges from ballads to ragggae tunes. Nevetheless, the only thing that she has to prove to the world is that she takes music seriously and she can be a successful solo singer too. Personally, I believe she will achieve what she's set to from this album. She surprised me with the maturity of her voice, which is different from other BEPs tracks. Here, she can be playful, and be soulful the next. Having said so, she sounded like a junior Christina Aguilera. Just like the title of one of her tracks, she can infact be Mary Jane, while Christina takes on Baby Jane.

Janet has created a lot of buzz around her when she gained and dropped 60 pounds in a short time. However, one still has to really focus in order to appreciate the whole album offered by Janet. Or else, if you're not into serious R&B music, this album will disgust you. It took me quite a while to really review this album with much appeciation of art. A lot of vibe in this album just didn't work on me. Like her previous albums, All For You and Damita Jo, this album contains the sex element as usual. We just know that Janet takes sex seriously! I missed her older hit singles.

MusicBack. A lot fo dance elements, with a couple of soft ballads towards the end. No doubt, it's a good album that entertains, and plays well in different occasions. Unlike Janet's album, play this in the car to keep you awake and dancing, which is what I'm planning to do. I myself like the 2nd last song, (Another Song) All Over Again quite a lot. It's really easy to relate to that jazzy, meaningful song. Other than that, most other songs will keep the dancefloor busy. Great job. Seems like Justin really made full use of his hiatus from the industry.

VERDICT
So, out of the three albums, only Fergie and Justin's album are worth getting. The Dutchess offers wide range of songs that keeps the album rolling, while Futuresex/Lovesound is more focused on disco and contemporary Pop/R&B. As for Janet... get it if you really support her, or just want to listen to how songs can be hypnotizing.

Heart.

Went to the movies the other day to watch Heart, a really heart-warming, touching and soppy INDONESIAN movie. Yes, Indonesian. I find the language rather hard to be understood. Although it resembles the Malaysian Malay which I have learned from my primary and secondary school, overall I could only understand around 10 percent of it. The speed, the intonation and the usage of vocabularies and grammars are distinctive.

SYNOPSIS:
Rachel is a tomboyish girl, who is the childhood friend of a handsome boy named Farel. This close friendship lasted until one day, when Farel admitted that he has fallen in love with another girl, Luna.

Jealously starts to grow within Rachel as she slowly shows more of her feminine side as she refuses to give way to Luna. Trying not to look bad, she lied to Farel that she too had found someone she liked. However, in her state of confusion and blind jealousy, she met with an accident and was forced to have her legs amputated.

In a cruel twist of fate, Luna was also seeking treatment for a fatal heart disease at the same hospital as her. A difficult choice lies ahead of Rachel. Would she be willing to make the biggest sacrifice and donate her heart to Luna, just to see her best friend find happiness while she herself faces countless torment?

Truly, it was an above average movie for me. Sometimes, I do think that if I was in Rachel's shoe, I would hace done the same thing. Anyway, my personal rating would be a lofty 3.5 out of 5. Indeed, it should be my benchmark for all other Indonesian movies that I will watch in the future.

Cow turns 19.

Haven't been home for a few days now. So, here are the pictures from the birthday dinner for my dearest Cow. We took quite a lot of stupid pictures, and even recorded a few dope videos, including me putting back the untouched, clean noodles that we couldn't finish back to the food tray. MoMo, Happy B'day!

First thing first. A big Happy Birthday greeting to my old-whore bitch, Amber a.k.a. Momo. Her birthday dinner was a blast. It was in Yuenz, Sunway, neh... the famous steamboat restaurant that charges RM18.80 per pax with unlimited amount of food that you can take from a wide varieties. The only setback is the waiting time, which could sometimes exceed an hour! On top of that, the waiting 'lounge' is not even air-conditioned! Anyway, we spent over 3 hours there, with 12-13 attendants in total for our tables. With many cam whores there, we took a handful of photos, which I have yet to retrive from my princess, Tammy. So, behold your patience! So, finally cow is officially 19 years old. Yes, no longer young, but she's still youthful at heart I tell ya! Hope you truly like the pressie we bought for you!

So, a brief summary of what I've been doing since my last entry. On Friday, I went to watch DOA: Dead or Alive. Quite a dope show that focuses more on the beauty and sexiness of the 'warriors' in the movie rather than the intensity of the fights. Holly Valance did a rather poor job in her acting which left me with some doubts whilst the others were good enough. The actions were great, but it could have been greater if complemented by some swordfights, since Princess Kasumi in the movie portrays the best female ninja killer. The Armstrongs showed a close bond between a daddy and the daughter which induced some humour into the show. The scene to catch for: The was Christy (Holly Valance) dressed up in the beginning of the movie.

For the first time this year, I attended some dance lessons. Hip hop and modern jazz are like so popular now, how can I not join in the trend as well? But heck no, I'm too old and perhaps too impotent for those agressive dances. Instead, I went for Latino Salsa and Line Dance. Haha, that jsut proved that I'm aging much faster than Cow mentally. But seriously, they are not to say half bad at all. It was my first time joining, and I did adequately, as I were able to follow through the class with much efforts. Haha, but it looked at if that I was the youngest in the group. For Salsa, the mean is definitely lower, with less aunties and uncles, although there are 2 of them who are pretty old. Yet, the average age for Latino Salsa should be around 40. Whereas for Line Dance, it is expected that the dancefloor will be filled by people who are not longer 20, except for me lah. Even the trainer is older compared to Latino Salsa. Should be a quarter older than Mr. Latino Salsa. Nevertheless, I had a really enjoyable time!

It's already the second day of my holidays and I have not touched on my coursework at all. Tomorrow will be the day! Oh by the way, Kiahi is 3 years old!! You might be questioning why so fast. I don't count the year is in the year which everyone uses. 1 year for Kiahi, is the frequency it had been serviced. So far, his mileage is set to soar above 11000 kilometres soon.

Bought another CT's album, entitled Cerita Cinta. The title itself seeks no further explanation if you know what have happened to the newlywed superstar. Talking about albums, there are 3 new albums in town: Justin Timberlake, Fergie and Janet Jackson. I have yet to fully listen to all the 3 albums, but based on a fast thorough skimming, get Justin's album first if you're planning to get a CD from a music store.

Some time ago, my bitch reminded me of Lolo Ferrari, the French dancer and actress-cum-singer with one of the biggest boobies ever. Here's the catch, she had undergone roughly 22 surgeries to enhance the size of her boobs. On top of that, each side of her breast weights a lotfy 2.8kg! as reported by Guinness World Record. While ordinary people would find it hard to believe, but the 54F cup breast had captivated the attention of the public back then.

Another great day. Forgot to tell y'all that my Accounting assignment deadline has been postponed for a fortnight, which means the new date due is on the 4th of October. Which also implies that I'm slacking once again. Since yesterday I made no progress at all. Damn. Nevertheless, the accounting practice is almost done after I checked my figures with my friend who has also completed it.

Orang Utan and King Kong came over this late afternoon to watch My Super Ex-Girlfriend together. Even though the comedic superhero story didn't quite impress me, yet overall, the movie did an adequate job in entertaining its audiences. Uma Thurman proved that she's a versatile actor since Kill Bill trilogy. Before this, she even took up a musical role in the Producers and now she returns to the fighting world with sense of humor.

By the way, having more time made me reminisce all the pictures I took from a photo sticker booth/machine. Being popularised by Japan in the 1990s, it has been a trend to take sticker photos since it was introduced in Malaysia. But do you know that the first photo booth was actualyl invented in year 1925? That's about 77 years back. Nevertheless, the trend continues for decades now. Also, photo booths in the States are different from what we have here. Theirs are the normal black and white or color photo without any designs or what-so-ever-shiat.
