Purikura Collection.

Another great day. Forgot to tell y'all that my Accounting assignment deadline has been postponed for a fortnight, which means the new date due is on the 4th of October. Which also implies that I'm slacking once again. Since yesterday I made no progress at all. Damn. Nevertheless, the accounting practice is almost done after I checked my figures with my friend who has also completed it.

Orang Utan and King Kong came over this late afternoon to watch My Super Ex-Girlfriend together. Even though the comedic superhero story didn't quite impress me, yet overall, the movie did an adequate job in entertaining its audiences. Uma Thurman proved that she's a versatile actor since Kill Bill trilogy. Before this, she even took up a musical role in the Producers and now she returns to the fighting world with sense of humor.

By the way, having more time made me reminisce all the pictures I took from a photo sticker booth/machine. Being popularised by Japan in the 1990s, it has been a trend to take sticker photos since it was introduced in Malaysia. But do you know that the first photo booth was actualyl invented in year 1925? That's about 77 years back. Nevertheless, the trend continues for decades now. Also, photo booths in the States are different from what we have here. Theirs are the normal black and white or color photo without any designs or what-so-ever-shiat. Those colorful photo stickers machine are mainly found in Japan, East Asia, Taiwan, South Korea, etc. Currently, some of them has also begun appearing in the U.S. Until the whole photo sticker fever calms down, here are a full recap of ALL my photo stickers which can be shown to y'all! They are arranged chronologically for your viewing pleasure. WARNING: HEAVY LOAD OF PHOTOS!

Used tanned skin tone for this. Spot the difference?

That's all I have. Will try to take more whenever I'm in the mall. Until then, I should really evaluate the pictures and come out with better poses!

International Coastal Cleaning Day.

The past week had been busier than usual. I had to rush my Business Law assignment to meet deadline as I have explained before. In the end, my unsatisfied rough work was sent for assessment in time. I don't know how much to expect for it, but shouldn't be high, yet hope it it will cross the passing line of course. Talking about marks, I also received back my 2nd test for Business Data Modelling. Did rather badly as I scored only acredit for it. So far, my average score lies within the distinction region, so I guess I will have to focus more on the upcoming assignment and final examination which yields 80% our of the whole assessment of the unit.

While I was busy with assignments on the weekdays,I was busy with various activities instead on weekends. On Friday, I went to the movies with my animates, King Kong, Cow, Bitchy Bitch and Donkey. We saw Ghost Game, which happens to be an above expectations Thai horror flick. It's the 129th film I've seen this year. Anyway, the story's a tad simple yet ended with an anticipatory twist. I had fun screaming and laughing throughout the whole movie, which very much heped me with my stress reduction. I shall rate the movie a whopping *** out of 5.

Since it was a day off, the King and Queen had some camwhoring sessions with their descendants. Here are the (hilarious) pictures taken on that day:

In Cabana, SS15, Subang Jaya

Resembling the previous pose, Donkey actually took on the role of the terrified rabbit.

And lastly, Monkey nails the deer!

Monkey auditioning for horror flick. Was Monkey scary enough?

Saturday. Went to Sungai Long to have lunch with friends before paying a visit to my Queen, King Kong. We had a lot of joy as we did something we have always planned to. Only close mates would know what I'm talking about.

The next day, despite how tired I am after a few days of insufficient rest, I still had to wake up early to participate in an activity organised by Monash Nature Club in conjunction with the celebration of International Coastal Cleaning Day. The activity took place in one of the beaches located in Port Dickson. Our mission was simply to pick up all the harmful rubbish, or inorganic trash from the never-clean beach. It was more or less a competition as the team (yeap, we were divided into teams of 4) with the heaviest pack of trash, most interesting rubbish and most variations in rubbish will be awarded some prizes sponsored by the Body Shop.

Obviously, we didn't perform as good as the winning team who actually compiled trash worth 100 plus kilograms. I wonder what did they pick up from the beach. Nevertheless, it was an enjoyable activity. After the coastal clean-up activity ended, we went for sightseeing in a nearby deserted-on-a-Sunday-afternoon park with rocky beach in Pasir Panjang. There, we exhibit the natural sceneries, and I got to see my own species as well climbing and jumping from trees to trees.

Steve, R.I.P.

Yet another ordinary Monday. Went to RedBox Low Yat today with some peeps. Sang for a lofty 4 hours before calling a wrap to the day. Took a few pictures, but due to connection error with my friend, I obtained one of it only. After the karaoke session, went to meet up with my mom before going to Lot 10 again for sushi from the supermarket. There was another purpose for going to BB, and I didn't accomplish that. What a failure. I'm slightly devastated. Really.

She's Alyssa, the pretty girl who came with us today. She's a goddess that sings well!

Breaking news (as informed by Vin)

Steve Irwin, the guy who entertained us with his documentary on nature and animals passed away this morning after being stung by a stringray. Althought I'm not a fan, reading the news is saddening. Damn the stringray, of all times to be agressive, why did it choose Steve as the victim? The out-of-its-mind sea creature murdered him by stabbing right into his heart using its barb. I wonder if the crew hunted down that particular stringray or not. Anyway, let's have a minute of silence for Steve Irwin. May he rest in piece.

Album Review

Just the other day, I bought Datin Siti's album, Transkripsi which was released for a rather long period of time now. The almost perfect album features 13 tracks, in which 3 of them are co-produced by Siti herself, musically and lyrically.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Track Listing:

1) Siti Situ Sana Sini ***1/2
2) Biarlah Rahsia *****
3) Destinasi Cinta *****
4) Cuba Untuk Mengerti ****1/2
5) Hidup Penuh Bicara ***
6) Bila Harus Memilih ****1/2
7) Pastikan ***1/2
8) Hati Berbisik ****1/2
9) Rupanya Kita Serupa ***1/2
10) Tanpa Dendam Di Hati *****
11) Intrig Cinta ****
12) Impiankan Nyata ***
13) Bisakah ****1/2

Overall Rating: ****1/2

I'm very satisfied with the album. Malay songs could never be any better with Transkripsi. It's an extremely solid masterpeiece put together after a long hiatus. All in all, worth the money, worth the time, worth the listen.

Movies update: Invincible proves visibility as the movie finished first in last weekend's US Box Office again after being released into the cinemas for 2 weeks now. New flicks in town, Crank and The Wicker Man entered at no. 2 and no. 3 respectively during their debut weekends. (source)
