Steve, R.I.P.

Yet another ordinary Monday. Went to RedBox Low Yat today with some peeps. Sang for a lofty 4 hours before calling a wrap to the day. Took a few pictures, but due to connection error with my friend, I obtained one of it only. After the karaoke session, went to meet up with my mom before going to Lot 10 again for sushi from the supermarket. There was another purpose for going to BB, and I didn't accomplish that. What a failure. I'm slightly devastated. Really.

She's Alyssa, the pretty girl who came with us today. She's a goddess that sings well!

Breaking news (as informed by Vin)

Steve Irwin, the guy who entertained us with his documentary on nature and animals passed away this morning after being stung by a stringray. Althought I'm not a fan, reading the news is saddening. Damn the stringray, of all times to be agressive, why did it choose Steve as the victim? The out-of-its-mind sea creature murdered him by stabbing right into his heart using its barb. I wonder if the crew hunted down that particular stringray or not. Anyway, let's have a minute of silence for Steve Irwin. May he rest in piece.

Album Review

Just the other day, I bought Datin Siti's album, Transkripsi which was released for a rather long period of time now. The almost perfect album features 13 tracks, in which 3 of them are co-produced by Siti herself, musically and lyrically.

I'm very satisfied with the album. Malay songs could never be any better with Transkripsi. It's an extremely solid masterpeiece put together after a long hiatus. All in all, worth the money, worth the time, worth the listen.

Movies update: Invincible proves visibility as the movie finished first in last weekend's US Box Office again after being released into the cinemas for 2 weeks now. New flicks in town, Crank and The Wicker Man entered at no. 2 and no. 3 respectively during their debut weekends. (source)
