All things cut short, it is rather disappointing for me to not finding it really delicious. You know, like double A plus rating for the food there. It was just, so-so to me. What happened? Anyhow, the fact that I was there at 5 in the morning reminded me of the days when I used to eat with my parents many years back, also early in the morning. Miss the good ol' days... Anyhow, going with friends made with a worthy visit. :)

Imbi Bak Kut Teh.
It happened on the day when I stayed awake for almost 40 hours, first in my life. Never did I tried to skip sleeping before, but this time around, my eyes were sore, yet undefeated for that amount of time. Anyway, back to what I want to write ler. It has been a few years since I've been to this overrated Bak Kut Teh restaurant in Imbi, which has been visited by numerous stars and media.

Roti Motor, anyone?
What kind of roti canais have you guys heard of apart from from the ordinary, always-called Roti Kosong, Roti Telur, Roti Planta, etc.? Okay, 2 years ago I encountered some weird ones named Roti KLCC, Roti KL Tower and so on. Then last few months I've tried some Roti Perancis and Roti Plaster in BRJ, Desa Setapak. And a few nights ago, I came across come Roti "Cars" from a mamak in Taman Bunga Raya, Setapak. Ordered Roti Suzuki which is a combination of butter, egg, sardine and banana. Isn't that a bit too much? Definitely a no no for me. Priced reasonably for a very wrong reason. Anyway, there are a lot more other cars which you can certainly try when you're there. It's a corner shop at the opposite end of Mali's Corner if you know where that is as well. Hereby, is their menu which you will find amusing.

Green Box Part II.
Green Box review part 2. Was there quite often so now I have more things to write about. Remember the unlimited flow of drinks and snacks? I'm annoyed by the fact that the ice blended machines are often times under the preparation status. Besides, the choices of snacks have been reduced in the branch in Sungei Wang. What actually happened I seriously wonder.
Anyway, I forgot to mention about the capsules room that is absolutely fresh and new. There is actually this room which is charged differently and more expensively if number of patrons are too few. It's transparent and is located right at the entrance, for people to spectate. What the heck... I've seen people actually singing in it, for the public to view and to hear. Wow, such courage is to be appreciated, but I will never try it for sure. For I am shy, hates attention and couldn't sing well...
There you go. Capsules rock.
Green box Graffiti Wall. Interior for room 49, JJ Cheras Selatan.
It's pretty cool, ain't it?
Papa Ray and I.
Look, our clothes changed.
Nope, it was actually our second time there.
Grabbed the chance to take this background.
Last but not least, more softporn...
Could you guys guess what song does this video plays for...?

Samosa, Connaught.
Could have posted this weeks ago, but a tight schedule kept me off blogger. Anyway, my bitches and I went out for a night yum cha session at Taman Connaught. Without judging much, we certainly picked a wrong place in the end. Where? Samosa.
Couldn't say much about this place since we didn't order much. The music aired was annoying and sorta a bad choice. The food, I could only judge the french fries that I ordered. It was a tad ordinary. The drinks, pretty ok. Had a cup of tailfeather, which is extremely sour, which could be a blend of lemon and lime. King Kong had a cup of banana juice, which resembles a banana smoothie whilst Orang Utan was punished by a cup of iced lemon tea (suckiest one I've ever drank, even worse than the one served in Kinrara). Pricing is normal. So, overall, I'm not going there again despite the overfriendliness of the waiters there.

Green Box Part I.
Haven't y'all heard of Green Box? It's the new Karaoke Center in town operating in two different places so far - Sungei Wang and Jaya Jusco Cheras Selatan. Under the same management for Red Box, this new karaoke is supposed to be healthier and environmental, providing better services at the same time.
So, what makes this place different from Red Box? The interior of course. If Red Box is red, d'oh, Green Box is green. Well, rooms are relatively bigger, and more spacious. Selection of singers are better now with the display of their respective photos above their names. However, returning to previous page is quite a trouble. The unlimited drinks and titbits (only for Happy Hour) for patrons is another A+. However, few days ago, when I was there for the 3rd time in a week, I was rather disappointed with the titbits. The fact that the titbits containers at the refill counters were left empty for quite some time is certainly a bad impression.
All in all, Green Box is still a better place compared to Red Box. Oh, and the rates are cheap for students too. Only RM7++ for the happy hour session that starts from 1.00p.m. to 6.0p.m. with extensions granted under certain circumstances. At other times, charges are fairly low too, compared to it's predecessor, Red Box.
The room. Themed green to suit its name.
Ironically, the bathroom's in blue instead.
Love the new interior.
Still, irrelevant videos are ought to be changed to the original ones.
Or else, she's gonna haunt all of us, wouldn't she?

TARC Unplugged.
More than 2 weeks ago, I went to TARC for their annual Unplugged Concert, which is similar to Battle of the Bands. It has been ages since I've been to any major functions organised by students. Miss the old times of Interact Club. Anyway, due to a tight schedule on that day itself, I was late to the event. Fortunately, like most gigs, the opening delayed for a while and eventually I missed a small part of it only.
The event was carried out smoothly nonetheless. The best bands entered the finals, but I have to disagree with the final results of the winners. I just felt that the crowd's favorite, N-Core had their championship robbed whilst the champion was fairly great, but not superb, since at times the band's vocalist had trouble delivering continuous lyrics. Okay, so much so, I spent a few hours there watching how a good event filled out the post Christmas, or Boxing Day, or the Tsunami Tragedy Day on the 26th.

Shot taken in the toilet of their Sports Stadium.
On the stage with my friend, Nemo/Ernest.
Snowy X'Mas prop. Nice.

Potluck Party@Julia's Crib.
Potluck Party was a huge success. Finally it was held out despite being disturbed by terrible weather (heavy rain at night) and delay of party time (scheduled at 6, started at 9 plus due to abscence of late comers). I'm sure everyone had fun, although the partytime fell short as some of us had to leave early thanks to the curfews. Anyways, I'm not saying much as pictures does it better. Feast on.
Those who arrived way too early.
Look at all the food we've got.
All hail the King and his Princess Tammy. Nono. Princess Tata now.
No, I don't want to share a picture with them. Hahaha.
Teenager in despair?
Meantime, Caryn got crazier.
Luckily, I saved the Queen for some camwhoring session.
Before she turned into this...
And um, the new trend in town. Add herbs to cool it down.
Tata delivered an acoustic performance of Find the Way accompanied by talented Adrien.
Welcome to the Sistahood.
Opz, got tipsy.
