Gasoline Cafe.

Like I have mentioned, I was trying out this Gasoline Cafe (always thought it was Gasolina Cafe instead) the other day in Sungei Wang, 6th Floor. It's easy to find, since it's a corner shop at the main street. The place is quite great, interior and ambiance wise. Walking in, the cafe is actually divided into two sections, the one outside and the one hidden inside.

On the outside, the normal tables and chairs are provided. On the other hand, the interior for the latter section is much more Japanese-like, as diners will have to sit on the floor or on the cushion provided around a short table.

Well, after settling down, I noticed that the design of the wall and the table is quite attractive as well. Let's talk about the wall first. It's pretty simple, just some leaves in green with gold ones appearing out of nowhere once in a while.

As for the table, the top part of contains readable comic that can be finished in a few seconds for mere entertainment purposes.

Moving onto the food, I ordered this Peppermint Choc for my drink. The taste of the mint shadowed the chocolate, making the drink rather awful at first. But sips after sips, I began to like it. 4/5

As snacks, this golden bread with fish paste topped with salad sauce was ordered. The golden bread was crunchy enough to makeit a good appetizer. 4/5

For my main course, I ordered this steamed fish layered with egg on the outside served with rice. Portion is rather little for big eater, and the layer of the egg was a tad too hard and thick. However, the rice was scentful and pretty delicious. Yet, one might find it a little salty. 3/5

Overall, not bad. I'll be back for more.
