Umizaru: Bringing sexy back!

Yet another boring Saturday. Slept at 4 yesternight, and woke up after 7 hours and 15 minutes. Been slacking so much lately. Piles of assignments to be finished. Skipped a couple of workout sessions. Haven't been practising my guitar. And have been months since I revised on my Japanese. What have I become? I need to define myself again, as soon as possible.

Two movies to recommend here. First up, Poseidon is such a thrilling movie that keeps you thinking about what's coming next. Fergie who had a cameo appearance did a rather adequate job in the movie. Although action packed, reviews slammed the movie which is adapted from a popular novel. The box office eventually bombed too, covering a part of the high budget. Nevertheless, it is still a movie that is between average and good. So, ***1/2 for the ratings.

The second movie which I want to recommend is also an adaptation, not from a novel, but a game, called Silent Hill. The story is a bit draggy, as the mysterious plot unveils the evil that's haunting the ghost town of America in West Virginia. Watching it reminds me of The Descent, except that Silent Hill kicked ass better. I was fascinated with the ending, where Alyssa killed the civilians with her barbed wires. It was way awesome. I'd wished I could do that too. Then I will turn all my enemies into a pool of flesh and blood. Anyway, the ratings for the movie is just **3/4.

Now moving on to video update. Downloaded this a while ago, but didn't have time to blog about it. Justin Timberlake has always been claimed to be sexy in everything he does. With no exception, his new song, Sexyback, is undeniably smooth, sexy and seductive. However, it is not complemented with an eye-grabber music video. After watching the mv, I have to admit that I'm not thrilled at all. It is almost so-so. In my opinion, video is ** but the song is ****1/2.
