Lim Kok Wing, Cyberjaya!

Damn. Had a test on Business Data Modelling today which makes up to 10 percent of my whole unit evaluation. Didn't really study much as I was busy over the weekend (going out, and on other assignments). 3 questions all together, and granted 20 minutes for completion. First question was rather okay; it was on sampling design. Then, the rest of the questions were on proportion - the confidence interval and the sample size. At first, I thought I answered it correctly, but at the very last minute, which is 1 minute before the time limit, I found out that my calculations were entirely wrong because of the proportion. The question had a sample of 200 and 60 was the number of sample that fulfills the criteria. The ever clever me just took 60 and made it 0.6 for the proportion, which should actually be 0.3! Sigh. There are big chances of me failing this test. Mierda!

Anyway, should speak of happiness to make myself feel a little bit more content. it was yesterday when I followed Tammy and Vin to Lim Kok Wing, Cyberjaya. She told me that she'll reach at 8.30a.m. to fetch me, but eventually the jam caused her another 15 minutes. Here's the catch. While I prepared and set my alarm at 7.00a.m., 7.15a.m., and 7.30a.m. the night before, and they did ring at their respective times, I still woke up late. Guess how late was I? I woke up at 8.20a.m. at last. "OMMFG" I mimicked to myself. Therefore, I decided to use the emergency preparation method that enabled me to be fully prepared in 25 minutes! I'm so proud that I even made it that quick given that I had to brush my teeth, wash my face, hair, body, apply moisturiser, put on my contact lens, fix my hair, choose my clothes, etc. Thank gawd we arrived in time for Tammy's first class of the day (or else I'll feel guilty, definitely!).

So, my experience in LKW. The food in the food court is't as bad as I thought. Ordered a plate of nasi goreng pattaya which took the chef forever to prepare it. Without any doubts, the plaza is a great hang out place. There is a hair academy, a cafe named Wing Coffee, the foodcourt called Makanlah!, a pool/cybercafe/foosball area, a gymnasium, a dance studio and a fashion retail store. The building as y'all know is black in colour everywhere. The students there distinguish the blocks by bars, which comes in purple, green, orange and red? Couldn't really remember. The classrooms are big, and there are a lot of nice places for cam-whores. In my opinion, the people there are generally more stylish compared to what I get in Monash. Colourful wardrobe, funky hairstyles, funky bags, etc.

Din't stay there for long. Tam's late afternoon class which was supposedly to end at 6.30 ended way too earlier, but hung out a little while more with her peeps, Adrian and gang. I surely had a fun time there. And on the way home, I found myself cam-whoring continuously in the car. Out of nowhere, the King was suddeny active after a long, exhaustive day. Just to share, here are soime of the u.g.l.y. pictures that were shot.

Call on Janet.

When you have heavy loads of work pending to be done, and you still have time to daydream while singing and coming online, how would you feel? Anxiety. I'm dead. Marketing is due Tuesday, but I have not started much yet. And guess how much time do I have to complete it? Only a mere 8 hours. Making things worse, I have no idea of how it should be done. Muerto! Super dead. Nevertheless, be positive. The assignment is only 2 marks in total. That's the only way to convince myself at this state.

My health these days are a bit unstable for sure. After recovering from the fever and the sorethroat now, the cold is still here. It has been a week now. What a terrible flu. On top of that, frequent stomachache is also a bother lately. I couldn't even count how many times I've been to the toilet for goodness's sake. There is aonly a small portion that is released during each visit, and there is still a lot of gas in my stomach. Guess that describes the reason of me having stomach pain endlessly. Even when I'm typing this, my stomach is grumbling.

So, as I'd promised, I shall show you the recaps of Janet Jackson's latest single, Call On Me where she collaborated with Nelly, the prominent pop rapper. Overall I give both the video and the song **** out of 5. The settings and the costumes in the video were impressive. Janet borrowed the Japanese culture, where she became a sultry geisha. Her beau, Nelly, became a sailor tarvelling in a ship that resembles the Pirates or King Kong to look for Janet. Feast on the video:

C'mon boy. Mama has opened the enormous doors for you.

Hot tattoo alert here. Are they fake or real, Janet?

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Certainly stylish fake nails that's also life-threatening!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Hit or miss? You tell me.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Without doubts, cool outfit.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
A very bright smile from Janet. Will her comeback be as big as Mimi?

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Slightly sci-fiction.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
The modern geisha wears really heavy headset.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
What a breath-taking scene of the hallway. I'd wished my house has something like that.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
She just turned h.o.t.t.e.r. in this red outfit.

The sailor a.k.a. the pimp to me.

Another piece of marvellous dress.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Alright, what was she thinking? Goddess of Love?

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Close-up. Um, she could have done something else instead. Seriously, this doesn't work.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Probably the best screenshot I took. Remember the scene... "I did everything to bring myself one step closer to you."?

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Finally, a happy ending for the two desperados!

Last but not least "mama's gonna eat you up!"

Shabooya!

Monkey has been busy and sick. He's now having a terrible throat and fever. On top of that, he was hit by allergy too. Has this anything to do with the seventh month? I don't blame on it, since I have to take care of myself. Personally, I think the durian and some fried food had contributed to my sickness. Yikes.

Although I'm sick and all, I was able to catch 2 movies over my long weekend. First up, it's the comedic Adam Sandler's flick called Click. Having released in the States approximately 2 months ago, the movie will only hit screens in Asia on the 10th of August. Sometimes, I do think that we're a bit backdated. Anyhow, the movie is humorous and entertaining enough. Some people migh find it boring, but not me. Adam did a great job, portraying his character at different ages, whilst Kate Beckinsale was amazingly gorgeous in that movie. Overall, a ***3/4 out of 5 for the ratings.

The second movie that I have watched is Bring It On: All or Nothing. What can I say, another teen cheerleading movie. However, I give props to Solange Knowles who charmed the show. The lead actress was great too, for a newcomer. Her character is called Britney, and guess what she does resembles the Britney Spears in some scenes. The dance routines were awesomely good, although their performances were solely dancing, and not much of cheering. All in all, monkey rates the movie **1/2 out of 5 stars. Oh oh! Rihanna was a guest star in the movie too; she did what she do best, which is singing, and also did a little bit of acting.

Given my unfit condition, I was also able to work today. No, not as an extra artiste this time around, but as a telemarketer. It was definitely a positive experience working from 9.30a.m. to 4.30p.m.. Lunchtime was an hour, but was cut short as it rained heavily during lunch hour. Nevertheless, I was fortunate as the rain stopped after a while, so I got myself a plate of mee hoon with fried egg and fried meat. Ah tired tired. Still have assignments to finish and also tutorials to prepare for tomorrow.

Wangsa Maju: Danger Zone.

Life's every color. There are always ups and downs in life. Happiness and sadness. Despair and joy. Unfortunate and lucky. Courage and nerves. Broken and restored. Love and hatred. Blah blah blah.

Was being a really good student today in university by paying attention to each and every single slides for Business Law at all times. Never before would I ever think that law is so interesting and fun. No wonder King Kong is considering that unit as her major! As usual, marketing calmed the boiling water of law after that. It was a tad boring today although the presentations were somehow good and entertaining. Pn. Nor was unable to come today, so she was raplaced by this tutor called Mr. Gan. Supposedly, I was to have lecture right after that tute, but at the very last moment, I planned to skip it for once! And most probably it would be my last time skipping it as well. Reason of skipping: Lunch. Haha.

As promised, here are the pictures taken in Sungei Wang the other day with Tammy, Cow, Orang Utan and Fish.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
The best pic of all!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
2nd best! My eyes looked huge here!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Haha, doing a bit of the (dope) sailor style.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Hated this picture.

ALERT: To those residing in the neighborhood of Wangsa Maju, better be careful when you're out on the pedestrian streets at night. Alarming increase of snatch thefts in the area not only caused the loss of wealth, but also physical damages which might to the extreme threaten the safety of life (source). As a safety measure, don't go out alone and avoid dark places. Well, as a superstitious person, I personally think that the seventh month has something to do with it as well. Just talk about the sudden reign of bad luck all around. Anyway, precautions MUST be taken!

She... built my confidence by putting faith in me.
She... chatted with me even after I left Taylors.
She... is very supportive to everyone.
She... is participative in class and activities.
She... is smart and produce excellent results.
She... had always sat behind or in front of me in the exam hall.
She... was always the one who talk to me whenever exams ended.
She... represents the soul of a strong woman.
She... possesses outstanding strength and courage.
She... cooks.
She... is a cheerful, down-to-earth person.
She... is independent, reliable and trustworthy.
She... is polite and obedient.
She... is no doubt a bright star to all of us.

At 5.00a.m., Rosline, who very much inspired people through her strong determination, commitment, and will to live, left us for heaven today. Although we've only known each other for almost a year or so, the loss is nevertheless devastating. From the deepest fo ym heart, may She rest in peace. P.S. As time goes by, some things do disappear, but one fantastic thing about life, is that a person like YOU will be forever and always remembered. L.O.V.E.

An American Haunting

Went out again yesterday. First, was in Mid Valley with Tammy and Cow to catch the new horror flick in town called An American Haunting. The whole movie was somewhat disappointing to me just because it wasn't scary at all. I expected more fightening scenes than I got, which was none. However, watching it with Cow made the movie seemed scarier than it actually is. Well, I will give the movie a *** out of 5.

After that, walked around with them before we settled in Haagen Daaz eating chocolate fondue, which is awesomely delicious. Just imagine chocolate coated bananas, ice cream with hazelnuts, etc. Loved it. Will eat it again. But to me, it's rather expensive. Just the fondue is about RM54, and with the addition of taxes, the whole desser shot up to over RM60.

Then, Tammy had to go. At first, Cow was supposed to go home too before meeting Fish in Cheras, but at the very last minute, I decided to join along, so I drove all the way to Fish's pond in Cheras with Cow as my passenger. It was her first time in my car. Amusing. Anyway, all three of us went to an Italian cuisine restaurant near Leisure Mall. Well the place was kinda nice, and it served us with quite tasty food. We ordered lasagna and pizza. Just one noting here, the crust for the pizza was a bit too hard, yet... crunchy to me. The price charged is fairly reasonable, as each of us only paid approximately RM13.

There after, Fish and Cow ditched the Monkey as they went for a lil' shopping spree in Leisure Mall. :'(

Nevertheless, my night did not end there. After I had a short rest in my house, I was out again to meet some friends in Halo Cafe, Sunway Pyramid. The band yesterday was good, as they belted out hit singles like Give Me Your Love, Superwoman and Sarangheyo. After chilling out in that place for about an hour and a half, it was time for us to head home. It was 1.00a.m.

So, at the end, I actually stayed up 'till very late yesterday even though I was already home 30 minutes after I left Sunway. The time I really went to bed? 3.15a.m.

Alright! That's all from me now. It should be time for some priceless pictures!

Claudia-san...

In a glimpse, week one for university is officially over. Damn. 13 weeks left and I'll be sitting for my final exmaination again. Time flies, faster than my pace which I'm practising blindly. Often times, I do ask myself why don't I utilize each and every second of my life to do things that are beneficial.

By the way, was in King Kong's house today for a barbeque party. Hereby, I wish King Kong's daddy his happy 50th birthday! The food was great, especially the fish, pork chop and chicken wings. On top of that, the appetizer>coleslaw was definitely delicious, right on par with KFC's coleslaw. Then, the cake was really nice too. It was a mango cake with grapes and kiwi as the dressing. Yummy yummy!

Also, I received a postcard from Claudia today, my friend from Germany. It is great to hear from her again after so long.
